New Happenings in the Pearl's North Campus!
12/30/2009 The Pearl's North Campus is starting to see some changes happening on NW Quimby and 13th! This site will be home to The Quimby, which will offer affordable family housing in Portland's Pearl District. Completion of this project is slated for late April of 2011. The building will be 6-stories above one level of underground parking on a full-block site in the Pearl, with 138 apartments that are primarily 2 and 3 bedroom units. This will be an affordable housing complex, based on affordability requirements. All units will include free parking and high-speed internet. The ground floor will feature 14,000sf of non-residential space. Portland Public Schools will occupy part of that space for K-2 students, as well as Zimmerman Community Center.
